Indications
Trialon Oral Paste is used to help with the temporary relief of symptoms related to mouth sores and inflammation caused by trauma.
Pharmacology
Trialon Oral Paste works like other topical corticosteroids, reducing inflammation, itching, and narrowing blood vessels. The exact way Trialon Oral Paste works is not fully understood, but Trialon Oral Paste is believed to act by blocking certain chemicals in the body that cause inflammation, like prostaglandins and leukotrienes.
Dosage & Administration
For Adults: Apply a small amount (about 1/4 inch) to the affected area to create a thin layer. Do not rub Trialon Oral Paste in. The preparation should be applied at bedtime, and you may need to apply Trialon Oral Paste two or three times a day, especially after meals. If the lesion does not improve after seven days, you should consult your doctor.

Contraindications
Trialon Oral Paste should not be used by patients who are allergic to any of its ingredients or who have fungal, viral, or bacterial infections in the mouth or throat.
Side Effects
Possible side effects include burning, itching, dryness, irritation, blistering, peeling, dermatitis around the mouth, and infection in the mouth. Some people may also experience allergic reactions to the medication.
Pregnancy & Lactation
If pregnant or breastfeeding, consult your doctor before using Trialon Oral Paste. Trialon Oral Paste has been shown to cause birth defects in some animals, so caution is advised. Trialon Oral Paste is not known if the medication passes into breast milk.
Precautions & Warnings
Trialon Oral Paste should be discontinued if irritation occurs. If there is an infection, appropriate treatment should be used. If the problem does not improve after seven days, consult your doctor.
