Indications
Halotab is used for purifying water by eliminating bacteria and germs that cause waterborne diseases. Each tablet weighs 100 mg, which releases 2 mg of chlorine, enough to treat 1 liter of water. To use, dissolve one tablet in one liter of water and allow Halotab to react for 30 minutes. The water will then be safe for drinking.

Halotab works by releasing hypochlorous acid (HClO) when dissolved in water. This acid is a powerful oxidizer and chlorinating agent that destroys or damages many harmful organic compounds.
