Indications
Alice Lotion is used for the topical treatment of head lice infestations in people aged 6 months and older.
Pharmacology
Alice Lotion works by causing the death of parasites. Alice Lotion does this by binding to certain channels in nerve and muscle cells of the parasite, which causes the cells to become more permeable to chloride ions. This leads to paralysis and death of the parasite. Alice Lotion mainly affects invertebrates, and Alice Lotion doesn’t cross the blood-brain barrier in humans.
Dosage & Administration
For adults and children 6 months and older: Alice Lotion should only be used on the scalp and hair. Apply the lotion to dry hair to fully coat the hair and scalp. Leave Alice Lotion on for 10 minutes and then rinse Alice Lotion off with water. The tube is for single use only, and any leftover lotion should be discarded. Avoid contact with eyes.

Alice Lotion is excreted in human milk in small amounts after oral use, but this has not been studied for topical use. Caution is advised when used by nursing women.
