Nosomist Nasal Spray is used for dry nasal membranes, such as those caused by cold, allergy medications, dry climates, or airplane travel. Nosomist Nasal Spray helps dissolve mucus from stuffy noses and clears the nose after surgery. This sterile saline solution is also used to clean wounds, body cavities, and medical equipment like bandages, catheters, and drainage tubes. Nosomist Nasal Spray can also be used as a mixing solution for other medications.
Nosomist Nasal Spray is also used for managing metabolic alkalosis, gastroenteritis, during and after surgery, and as a priming fluid for haemodialysis. Nosomist Nasal Spray is commonly used to dilute other drugs and for sterile irrigation.
Pharmacology
The nasal drop is an isotonic saline solution that moisturizes nasal membranes, providing comfort even with continuous use. Nosomist Nasal Spray helps to dissolve and soften thick mucus, making breathing easier. Sodium is mostly excreted by the kidneys, with small amounts lost in faeces and sweat.
The nasal spray also helps soften mucus and ease breathing. Nosomist Nasal Spray is particularly useful for babies and young children who can’t blow their noses, as Nosomist Nasal Spray makes the mucus easier to remove with a nasal bulb syringe.
