Indications
Lulexa 20gm is indicated for the topical treatment of skin infections caused by fungi, such as athlete’s foot, jock itch, and ringworm. Lulexa 20gm works against infections caused by Trichophyton rubrum and Epidermophyton floccosum.
Pharmacology
Lulexa 20gm is a topical antifungal medicine. Lulexa 20gm belongs to the azole group and works by blocking an enzyme called lanosterol demethylase. This helps prevent the formation of ergosterol, a key part of the fungal cell membrane. By doing so, Lulexa 20gm kills fungi and stops their growth. Lulexa 20gm is effective against various types of fungi like dermatophytes, Candida albicans, and others.
Dosage & Administration
Adult & Elderly: For athlete’s foot, apply the cream once a day to the infected area and about 1 inch around Lulexa 20gm for two weeks. For jock itch and ringworm, apply Lulexa 20gm once a day for one week.
Pediatric: Safety and effectiveness in children have not been established.

Contraindications
Lulexa 20gm is contraindicated in patients who are allergic to Luliconazole or any of its ingredients.
Side Effects
Possible side effects include skin irritation or rashes. These reactions were seen in less than 1% of people during clinical trials.
Pregnancy & Lactation
Lulexa 20gm is classified as pregnancy category C. There are no well-controlled studies on its use during pregnancy, so Lulexa 20gm should only be used if the potential benefit outweighs the risks to the baby. Lulexa 20gm is unknown whether Lulexa 20gm passes into breast milk, so caution should be used when applying Lulexa 20gm to breastfeeding women.
