Indications

Agonil Cream is used to relieve symptoms of rheumatic and minor muscle and joint conditions, including back pain, fibrositis, sciatica, bruises, and strains.

Pharmacology

Agonil Cream is a topical pain reliever. The salicylate in Agonil Cream has anti-inflammatory properties that help to reduce swelling and pain in the affected area.

Dosage & Administration

Adults, Elderly, and Children over 6: Apply a small amount to the affected area and massage gently until the cream is absorbed. Always test Agonil Cream on a small area of skin first and use sparingly. Avoid contact with eyes and sensitive skin areas. Apply up to 3 times a day. Wash your hands well after use. If symptoms worsen or don’t improve after 7 days, consult a doctor.

Children: Not recommended for children under 6 years old.

Interaction

Topical salicylates may increase the effects of blood-thinning drugs like warfarin. Caution is advised for patients using blood thinners.

Contraindications

Agonil Cream should not be used if you are allergic to any of its ingredients, allergic to aspirin, have broken skin, are under 6 years old, or have a history of seizures.

Side Effects

Side effects are usually mild, such as temporary skin reactions like redness, burning, or rashes. Discomfort may occur if used in hot weather or after a hot bath. If excessive irritation or any other side effect occurs, stop using and consult your doctor or pharmacist.

Pregnancy & Lactation

Consult your doctor or pharmacist before using if you are pregnant, might be pregnant, or are breastfeeding. Agonil Cream should not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless advised by a doctor.

Precautions & Warnings

Do not smoke or go near open flames while using this product as Agonil Cream may cause severe burns. Fabrics that have come into contact with the cream may catch fire easily. Wash fabrics thoroughly, but they may not be completely free of product residue.

If too much is used or swallowed, seek immediate medical help. Using too much can cause symptoms like agitation, confusion, vomiting, or dizziness. If swallowed, take the packaging to your doctor.

Overdose Effects

If applied to a large area of skin or ingested, Agonil Cream may cause effects such as vomiting, dehydration, tinnitus (ringing in the ears), dizziness, sweating, fast breathing, and in severe cases, loss of hearing.
