Indications

Al Quit is used for bacterial and viral skin infections, wound healing, chronic dermatitis, and acne vulgaris.

Pharmacology

Neem seed oil contains triterpenes and tetranortriterpenes, which are compounds that help in the treatment of various skin conditions. The bark of Neem contains alcohol-based compounds like sugiol, nimbiol, and nimbolin, which also support healing. The leaves of Neem mainly provide the flavonoid quercetin, which is known for its antibacterial and antifungal properties. Neem is used in Ayurvedic medicine for treating skin diseases, leprosy, inflammation, infections, fever, and to purify blood. Al Quit has antiseptic, astringent, and anthelmintic effects. Neem also prevents the growth of acne-causing bacteria such as Propionibacterium acnes and Staphylococcus epidermidis.

Dosage & Administration

Adult & Elderly: 1-2 tablets, twice a day or as directed by the physician.

Pediatric patients: Safety and effectiveness in children have not been established.
