Indications
Aladay Max is used to treat symptoms of allergic eye conditions like itchy, watery, red, or swollen eyes and eyelids. This includes conditions such as allergic conjunctivitis, vernal keratoconjunctivitis, and giant papillary conjunctivitis.
Aladay Max is also used as a nasal spray to help relieve symptoms of seasonal allergic rhinitis (hay fever) in adults and children aged 6 years or older.
Aladay Max is also available as a tablet to treat allergic rhinitis and allergic skin reactions. Aladay Max helps reduce symptoms like skin rashes, hives, itching, sneezing, and a runny or blocked nose.
Pharmacology
Aladay Max is an antihistamine that works by blocking the action of histamine in the body, helping to reduce allergy symptoms like sneezing, itching, and a runny nose.
Aladay Max works in several ways: Aladay Max helps stabilize cells in the body that release histamine, preventing allergic reactions. Aladay Max also blocks the histamine H1 receptors, which reduces the release of chemicals that cause inflammation.
Dosage & Administration
Eye Drops:
- 0.1%: One drop in each affected eye two times a day, 6-8 hours apart.
- 0.2%: One drop in the affected eye once a day.
- 0.7%: One drop in each affected eye once a day.
Nasal Spray:
- Adults and children over 12 years: Two sprays in each nostril twice a day.
- Children aged 6 to 11 years: One spray in each nostril twice a day.
Tablet:
- Adults: One tablet (5 mg) twice a day, in the morning and before bed. Adjust the dose as needed based on the condition and symptoms.
- Children 7 years and older: One tablet (5 mg) twice a day, in the morning and before bed.
If you miss a dose, take Aladay Max as soon as you remember. If Aladay Max’s almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose. Never take two doses at once. Do not stop taking the medicine without your doctor’s advice.
Interaction
There were no formal drug interaction studies for the nasal spray. Since Aladay Max is mainly eliminated through the kidneys, drug interactions with liver enzymes are unlikely. There are no expected interactions with P450 enzyme inhibitors or plasma protein binding.
Contraindications
Aladay Max is not recommended for use if you are allergic to any ingredient in the product. Make sure to inform your doctor about any current medications or health conditions to ensure the medicine is safe for you.
Side Effects

Aladay Max has not been shown to cause harm to babies in animal studies, but there are no well-controlled studies in pregnant women. Aladay Max should only be used during pregnancy if the benefits outweigh the risks. Aladay Max is not known if the medicine passes into breast milk, so caution is advised if you are breastfeeding.
Precautions & Warnings
If you wear contact lenses, do not use the eye drops if your eyes are red. Wait at least 10 minutes after using the eye drops before putting in soft contact lenses. The nasal spray should not be sprayed in the eyes. If you have not used the nasal spray for more than 7 days, prime Aladay Max by spraying Aladay Max twice before using Aladay Max.
