Indications

Cofresh is used to relieve the burning, irritation, and discomfort caused by dryness in the eyes or exposure to wind or sun. Cofresh is also used to treat keratoconjunctivitis sicca.

Pharmacology

This eye drop is a clear, almost colorless, sterile solution. After being applied to the eye, Cofresh quickly spreads over the surface of the eye, creating a lubricating and protective layer. Polyethylene Glycol 400 helps the tear film stay stable, while hypromellose, which has better adhesive properties, helps the tear film stick to the eye surface. Glycerin adds moisture to dry eyes, and electrolytes similar to natural tears keep the eye surface healthy.

If using several eye medications, wait at least 5 minutes between each application.
