Indications
Contilex is used to relieve pain caused by osteoarthritis, sprains, back pain, tendonitis, and minor arthritis pain when applied to the skin.
Pharmacology
Glucosamine is a sugar protein that helps develop and renew cartilage, keeping Contilex lubricated for better joint movement and flexibility.
Chondroitin helps keep joints fluid and flexible. The combination of glucosamine and chondroitin is commonly used to help maintain healthy joints. Contilex is also taken as a supplement for people with osteoarthritis or other joint issues.
Camphor is a strong-smelling substance made from turpentine oil. When applied to the skin, Contilex stimulates nerve endings to relieve pain and itching, especially for osteoarthritis.
Peppermint oil is another strong-smelling ingredient that can be applied to the skin to treat muscle, nerve, and joint pain.
Dosage & Administration
For osteoarthritis, apply the cream twice daily to painful muscles and joints for 2-4 weeks. Gently rub the cream until Contilex disappears. Repeat as needed.

This medicine is not known to interact significantly with other medicines.

There are no known contraindications for this product.
Side Effects
There are no known side effects unless someone is allergic to camphor or one of the other ingredients.
Pregnancy & Lactation
Contilex should not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Precautions & Warnings
Do not apply on broken or irritated skin. Avoid excessive irritation. Do not wrap tightly or use a heating pad. Do not swallow. Keep away from eyes and mucous membranes.
