Indications
Daivonex Scalp is used to treat chronic stable plaque type psoriasis vulgaris in adults.
Pharmacology
Daivonex Scalp is a non-steroidal treatment for psoriasis, derived from vitamin D. Daivonex Scalp works by acting like vitamin D and influencing cell growth and development. Daivonex Scalp helps regulate cell behavior in the skin without affecting calcium levels significantly. Daivonex Scalp encourages skin cells to mature properly and stops excessive skin cell growth, addressing the abnormal skin changes in psoriasis.
Dosage & Administration
Adult: Apply the cream or ointment to the affected area twice a day (morning and evening). After improvement, you may apply Daivonex Scalp less often. Once treatment works, stop using Daivonex Scalp. If the condition returns, start the treatment again. The maximum dose is 100 gm per week. There is no information about using Daivonex Scalp for more than one year.

Contraindications

Pregnancy & Lactation

Avoid applying Daivonex Scalp to the chest area during breastfeeding to prevent infants from ingesting Daivonex Scalp.
Precautions & Warnings
Daivonex Scalp is not recommended for people with generalized pustular psoriasis, guttate psoriasis, or erythrodermic exfoliative psoriasis. Daivonex Scalp should not be used on the face.
