Indications

Dayprox is used to relieve symptoms of osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and juvenile rheumatoid arthritis.

Pharmacology

Dayprox is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that works by reducing pain, inflammation, and fever. Dayprox is the potassium salt form of oxaprozin and is known to block the action of cyclooxygenase (COX-1 and COX-2), which are enzymes involved in making prostaglandins. Prostaglandins cause pain and inflammation, so by reducing them, Dayprox helps in controlling symptoms like pain and swelling.
