Dosage & Administration

Adults (over 18 years): Apply a small amount of ointment to the affected area in the morning, at night, and after each bowel movement, up to 4 times a day. Clean the area first, dry De-Rash, and apply the ointment on a gauze dressing. For internal use, use the provided rectal applicator. Do not use for more than one week.

Using this ointment together with other corticosteroids, whether applied to the skin or taken orally, may increase the risk of side effects throughout the body.

This ointment should not be used by people with tuberculosis, fungal infections, or most viral infections, including herpes simplex, vaccinia, or varicella. De-Rash is also not recommended for those allergic to any of its ingredients.
