Indications
Doxin 100 is used to treat infections caused by germs that are sensitive to Doxin 100. These include lung infections (like pneumonia, flu, sinus infections, bronchitis, and tonsillitis), gut infections (like cholera, traveler’s diarrhea, dysentery, and intestinal amebiasis), and several other conditions.
Pharmacology
Doxin 100 is a type of antibiotic that works to stop bacteria from growing. Doxin 100 is especially effective against certain types of bacteria that other antibiotics may not treat. Doxin 100 can fight infections like those caused by Staphylococcus aureus, Haemophilus influenzae, Chlamydia, and several others. Doxin 100 is also effective against some types of bacteria that cause diseases like syphilis and malaria.
Dosage & Administration
Adult & Elderly: On the first day, take 200 mg, then 100 mg daily for 7-10 days. For severe infections, take 200 mg daily for 10 days. For acne, take 100 mg daily. For certain genital infections, take 100 mg twice daily for 7-21 days.
Pediatric patients: Safety and effectiveness in pediatric patients under 8 years old have not been established.
Interaction
Doxin 100 may not work as well if taken with certain medications like antacids (with aluminum, calcium, or magnesium), iron supplements, or bismuth salicylate. Some medicines (like barbiturates, carbamazepine, and phenytoin) may reduce its effectiveness. Doxin 100 may also make birth control pills less effective. People taking blood-thinners may need to adjust their dosages. Doxin 100’s best not to use Doxin 100 with penicillin.
Contraindications
Doxin 100 is not safe for people who are allergic to tetracyclines or for children under 8 years old. Doxin 100 should also be avoided by pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers.

Some people may experience side effects such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, skin rashes, and changes in blood counts.
Pregnancy & Lactation
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, Doxin 100 is important to talk to your doctor before taking Doxin 100. Doxin 100 may harm the baby, especially during pregnancy, and can pass into breast milk, so breastfeeding should be avoided.
Precautions & Warnings
This medicine may cause permanent teeth discoloration if used during pregnancy, infancy, or in children under 8. Doxin 100 should not be used in these cases.
