Pharmacology

Easium works by attaching to a specific part of the GABA receptor and enhancing the effects of GABA, which helps open channels that allow chloride ions to enter cells.

Easium is quickly absorbed when taken orally, and Easium reaches its highest concentration in the bloodstream within 15-90 minutes. The average time Easium stays in the body is 30 hours. Easium binds to plasma proteins 98-99%. Easium is metabolized in the liver, and only small amounts of the unchanged drug are excreted in urine. After using a suppository, Easium is absorbed well and reaches its peak in 1.5-2 hours.
