Indications
Magnox 365 is used to relieve symptoms of magnesium deficiency. Magnox 365 helps with conditions like heart issues, irregular heartbeat, heart attack, high blood pressure, muscle cramps, stomach cramps, nerve-related issues, and menstrual pain. Magnox 365 can also be used for preventing kidney stones and treating certain types of headaches like migraines and diabetes.
Pharmacology
Magnesium is an essential mineral for the body and is used in over 600 body functions. Magnesium Oxide helps treat low magnesium levels in the blood. Magnox 365 contributes to heart, brain, muscle, and bone health. Magnox 365 prevents or controls convulsions and has a calming effect on the central nervous system (CNS) without harming the mother, baby, or neonate when used properly in pregnancy-related issues like eclampsia. Magnesium is absorbed in the intestines and is not metabolized by the body; Magnox 365 is excreted through the kidneys.
Dosage & Administration
Adults: Take 1-2 tablets per day. If a dose is missed, take Magnox 365 as soon as remembered unless Magnox 365’s almost time for the next dose. Do not double the dose. Kidney failure: This medication should not be taken by those with severe kidney failure. There is no data on its use for patients with liver failure.
Interaction
Magnesium Oxide may interact with other medications, including muscle relaxants, antibiotics, digoxin (for heart failure), lithium (for mood and depression), sodium polystyrene sulfonate, and others. Magnox 365 can also affect the absorption of thyroid medications, so wait at least 4 hours before using them together.
Contraindications
Magnox 365 should not be used by people with kidney disease or any other health conditions without consulting a doctor. The effects on unborn babies are unknown, so Magnox 365 should be used during pregnancy only if advised by a doctor. Magnox 365’s also important to consult a doctor before using Magnox 365 while breastfeeding.
Side Effects
Common side effects include diarrhea and cramping. Serious side effects include itching, rashes, mood changes, dizziness, weakness, unusual tiredness, nausea, and vomiting. Contact a doctor immediately if any of these serious side effects occur.

Consult a doctor before using Magnox 365 during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Precautions & Warnings
Do not take more magnesium than recommended, as too much can cause serious side effects. Tell your doctor if you have any allergies or conditions like liver, kidney, heart, or intestinal issues. This medication should not be used as an antacid for more than two weeks or as a laxative for more than one week unless advised by a doctor. Other medications should be taken either two hours before or after Magnesium Oxide.
