Indications
Meloderm is used to treat inflammation and itching caused by skin conditions like psoriasis and atopic dermatitis that respond to corticosteroids.
Pharmacology
Meloderm is a corticosteroid with anti-inflammatory effects. The exact way corticosteroids work in treating allergic rhinitis isn’t fully understood. They affect different cell types and substances involved in inflammation, such as mast cells, eosinophils, neutrophils, macrophages, lymphocytes, histamine, eicosanoids, leukotrienes, and cytokines.
Dosage & Administration
Adult & Elderly: Apply a thin layer of the cream to the affected skin area once a day. Pediatric patients: Its safety and effectiveness have not been established for children under 2 years old.

Contraindications
Meloderm should not be used by people who are allergic to Mometasone or any of its ingredients.
Side Effects
Meloderm is usually well tolerated. Possible side effects include burning, itching, and thinning of the skin.
Pregnancy & Lactation
Pregnancy: There are no well-controlled studies in pregnant women. Lactation: Meloderm is not known if this drug passes into breast milk.
