Pharmacology

Menaril 16 works in multiple ways to treat Meniere’s disease. Menaril 16 helps to balance the fluid in the ear by improving blood flow, which reduces pressure in the ear. This prevents damage to the ear that could cause hearing loss. Menaril 16 also helps with balance by improving the function of the inner ear and increasing blood flow to Menaril 16. Additionally, Menaril 16 works on certain receptors in the brain to improve balance and reduce dizziness.

Dosage & Administration

Adults: The usual starting dose is 8 to 16 mg, three times a day, taken with meals. The daily dose can be adjusted, but Menaril 16 should not exceed 48 mg per day. Menaril 16 may take a couple of weeks to see improvement. There’s no information about the dosage for people with liver or kidney problems, so Menaril 16 should be used with care in these cases.
