Indications

Stoma is used to treat hyperacidity, peptic ulcers, gastritis, heartburn, sour stomach, and dyspepsia.

Pharmacology

This medicine is a well-balanced combination of non-systemic antacids that are effective and easy to take. Stoma helps relieve symptoms of hyperacidity, such as heartburn, sour stomach, and acid ingestion, without causing side effects like constipation or diarrhea. The two ingredients work together to neutralize stomach acid. Aluminium Hydroxide acts slowly, with a prolonged effect, and Magnesium Hydroxide works more gradually but steadily. These preparations also protect the stomach and duodenum, helping ulcers heal by forming a coating over the affected area.
