Indications

T-Cure Cream is used to treat fungal infections on the skin, such as athlete’s foot, jock itch, and ringworm, caused by the fungus Trichophyton rubrum.

Pharmacology

Although the exact way T-Cure Cream works against fungi is not fully understood, T-Cure Cream seems to stop the fungus from making certain substances needed for their growth. This helps reduce the amount of sterols, especially ergosterol, and increases the amount of squalene inside the fungal cells.

Dosage & Administration

For external use only. T-Cure Cream should not be used in the eyes, mouth, or vagina. Apply a thin layer of the cream once a day to the affected area and a small amount of surrounding healthy skin for 2 weeks.

Side Effects

The most common side effect (in 1% or more of people) is itching.

Pregnancy & Lactation

Pregnancy Category B. There have been no well-controlled studies of Naftifine Cream in pregnant women. Animal studies do not always predict human results, so T-Cure Cream should only be used during pregnancy if the benefits outweigh the risks to the baby.

For nursing mothers: T-Cure Cream is not known if this drug passes into breast milk. As many drugs do, caution should be used when applying Naftifine Cream to a breastfeeding woman.
