Pharmacology

Xerox 500 is a synthetic antibiotic that works against a wide range of bacteria. Xerox 500 is effective against many types of bacteria, including those in the Enterobacteriaceae family and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Xerox 500 also works on some gram-positive bacteria, but some streptococci are resistant. Xerox 500 works by blocking the enzyme DNA gyrase, which bacteria need to create DNA. After taking Xerox 500 by mouth, Xerox 500 is quickly absorbed and spreads throughout the body. Xerox 500 has a half-life of about 3.5 hours, and about 30% to 50% of the dose is excreted in the urine as unchanged drug and active metabolites.
