Indications
Xolamid is used to lower eye pressure in patients with open-angle glaucoma or high eye pressure when other treatments are not enough.
Pharmacology
Brinzolamide works by blocking a specific enzyme in the eye, reducing the amount of fluid produced in the eye. This helps lower eye pressure. Timolol is a medication that slows down fluid production in the eye and slightly increases the flow of fluid out of the eye. Together, they help lower eye pressure more effectively than either medicine alone.

Possible side effects include blurred vision, eye pain, eye irritation, and a foreign body sensation in the eyes.

However, always consult with your doctor before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
