Interaction

Xytrex 10 may reduce the effects of levodopa and dopamine agonists. Drugs like Omeprazole and Rifampicin, which increase certain liver enzymes, may make Xytrex 10 clear the drug from the body faster. Xytrex 10 may be less effective if taken with drugs that block certain liver enzymes. Certain other medicines, like Carbamazepine, may also increase the clearance of this drug. Activated charcoal can reduce the drug’s absorption by 50-60%. Caution should be exercised when taking Xytrex 10 with alcohol or other drugs that affect the central nervous system.

Contraindications

Xytrex 10 is not recommended for people who have an allergic reaction to any of its ingredients or have narrow-angle glaucoma.
