Pharmacology

Zedoxim 100 contains Cefpodoxime, a third-generation semi-synthetic Cephalosporin, which works against many Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. Zedoxim 100 is also resistant to beta-lactamase, an enzyme that would normally break Zedoxim 100 down. Cefpodoxime is effective against various bacteria such as Staphylococci, Streptococcus pneumoniae, Haemophilus influenzae, Neisseria species, and Moraxella catarrhalis.

Zedoxim 100 also includes Clavulanic acid, which is a natural substance that inhibits beta-lactamase enzymes produced by certain bacteria. By stopping these enzymes, Clavulanic acid helps protect Cefpodoxime from being broken down and increases its effectiveness.
