The way Zolmit works is by acting on specific receptors in the brain and blood vessels, causing them to tighten and reducing the release of harmful chemicals that cause inflammation.

Dosage & Administration

Tablet: The recommended starting dose is 2.5 mg. The maximum single dose is 5 mg. If the migraine has not gone away after 2 hours, or comes back after a brief improvement, a second dose may be taken after at least 2 hours. The maximum daily dose is 10 mg within 24 hours.

Nasal Spray: Use one dose of the 5 mg Nasal Spray for the treatment of acute migraine. If the headache returns, a second dose can be taken after 2 hours. The maximum daily dose is 10 mg within 24 hours. The nasal spray works similarly to the tablet, with doses under 5 mg possible only with the tablet form. The choice of dose and form should depend on the individual.
