Indications

Zultan is used to lower eye pressure in people with open-angle glaucoma or high eye pressure.

Pharmacology

Zultan works by helping fluid in the eye drain better through two routes, lowering eye pressure. Reducing eye pressure lowers the risk of glaucoma and vision loss.

Dosage & Administration

Adult & Elderly: Use one drop in the affected eye(s) once daily in the evening. Do not use more than once a day, as more frequent use can reduce the effect. If using other eye drops, wait at least 5 minutes between them.

Pediatric patients: Safety and effectiveness in children have not been established.

Side Effects

Common side effects include changes in eye color, eyelash changes, eye irritation, and swelling in the macula (the central part of the retina). There may also be an increased risk of eye infections if the eye is not properly cleaned.

If you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding, consult your doctor before using this medicine. There is no data on how Zultan affects pregnancy or breastfeeding, so the benefits and risks should be considered with your doctor.

Precautions & Warnings

Use with caution if you have eye inflammation or conditions that may affect the eye. If your eyes change color or eyelashes grow differently, consult your doctor. The color change in the iris (colored part of the eye) may be permanent, but other changes like eyelash growth are usually reversible.

Storage Conditions

Store the unopened bottle in the refrigerator at 2°C to 8°C. Once opened, the bottle can be stored at room temperature (2°C to 25°C) for up to 8 weeks.
